I was born for this. I’m convinced. It’s been over a year since inviting a group of women to dive into the Word of God with me IN PERSON! These women leaned in with heavy loads and walked away, arm in arm with each other and in step with Jesus. They confided in each other and they encouraged each other. These girls worked deep within the story of Esther to find healing and victory for themselves.

And you know what?

I did too.

The week before this event was HARD in our house. We struggled in ways we haven’t seen in a while and even my dad asked, “How will you speak to a group of women after a week like this?”

Good thing I didn’t have to worry about that. God did the work. He proves over and over again, He will do the work through this vessel. And HE WORKED! The girls at my table (bless their hearts for sitting with a stranger and the speaker of their event!) listened as I shared my own vulnerable impossibilities. They prayed for me, believing in faith for me. THE VERY NEXT DAY, God delivered a long-awaited victory!

Whew! Girls, God is good. God is faithful. He doesn’t need me to carry out this message of victory, but He chooses to use me anyway. I feel honored and grateful to be a vessel useful for the pouring out of His Word…His heart for us.
