Praying for the Man In Your Life: Video Devotional Series

You stand in a powerful position regarding your husband’s success. You engage in a relationship with him “for better or worse” seeing him through both the ecstatic and the broken places and a whole lot of in-between. Regardless of how long you’ve been with him or how close you feel to him now, you have the power to pray for him like no one else because you can be specific.

Psalm 112 offers specific language and I found the words address the very issues my husband’s life hangs on….his view of God, his kids, his wealth, his fears, his foes, his perspective, and on and on and on. Praying Psalm 112 for my husband seemed like a “good idea” at first, but when God began working through these specific prayers with even more specific answers and powerful, long-awaited breakthrough, I knew I had to share it with you!

You don’t have to be married to pray these prayers. Consider a man of influence in your own life and pour over this study with him in mind. Or pray them for yourself! Psalm 112 isn’t just for husbands, it’s for all who “fear the Lord” and “find great delight in His commands” (Psalm 112:1). So take as long as you need with each devotional; keep praying through these specific topics until you see breakthrough. God sees you and loves nothing more than engaging in conversation with you. Use this time to strengthen your man and in the end, you will be strengthened too.
